|Nicki's Final Service at St. Peter's|
Once again the Ladies played the gentlemen at
boules and quoits. After a close fought contest the gentlemen won by the narrowest of margins.
Two spokes ahead on the quoits but one of the spokes was a 50 scored by young Ross. His granny said she isn't taking him next year!
SUMMER FAIR 2017
We were lucky in having a lovely sunny day to hold our second dog show. There was also a baking competition, a variety of stalls
and of course our fabulous bacon butties.
Claire's Leaving Day
After completing her two year training at Cambriudge
Claire prepares for Ordination as a Deacon and
Curate at St Cuthbert's Church Marton. .
We wish her well and keep her in our prayers.
The opening of the shed.
A beautiful sunny afternoon, a number of ladies wearing their smartest hats
and a friend making a speech.
All this was part of Margery's transformation of her shed.
Cutting the tartan ribbon, she invited us to view her new space,
a place to just be.
We hope you enjoy your summer in your shed Margery.
A great performance of Joseph by members
and friends of St Peter's Cgurch.
As shown in the collage on the left they
played to a full house. Well done everyone
Teddy Bears and Other creatures daringly parachute from the tower ofSt Peter's Church Redcar.
For my own Rev Ted, this was his fifth year which was obvious by the experienced way in which he floated down to safe landing on the South side of the church. Others, jumping for the first time found themselves hooked on the tower or landing on the boiler house roof, necessitating rescue tactics to be employed. all were accounted for and then proceeded to the zip wire before enjoying a tasty picnic. Thanks everyone for a great time. Rachel
